Plants Alive! is always filled with lush greenery, but on the last Sunday of each month, the outdoor space just beyond its greenhouse is filled with artisans. The Makers Market sets up shop at the local business from 12 to 4 p.m. on these days, bringing many of the area’s top artisans and small business owners out to show off their various wares.
Stop in at the upcoming market on Sunday, July 12th to check out the 50-plus vendors who are on the roster this month. They’re selling everything from handcrafted candles and jewelry to artisan bath and body products. Many of the vendors specialize in vintage items, including both clothing and housewares, as well as upcycled items. Of course, some of the creators are artists who make their own masterpieces from scratch. The market is the perfect place to stock up on one-of-a-kind gifts or find the perfect new statement piece for your wardrobe or your apartment. It’s free to attend, and no RSVP is necessary. Note that kids and pets are both welcome, as well!
